Devices and aids for the production of ultrasonic sensors

inoson develops and supplies devices and aids for the production of ultrasonic sensors.

Our many years of experience in the research, development and production of ultrasonic sensors and ultrasonic transducers allow us to analyse the requirements of the respective production step in a targeted manner and to implement appropriate aids. The focus here is on initial testing (especially of piezoelectric components and acoustically effective damping and matching materials) and testing and inspection technology in various manufacturing steps.

The highlight here is our transducer tester, a device used to characterise and evaluate both the electrical impedance and electro-acoustic behaviour of an ultrasonic transducer. The test steps and their evaluation methods can be specified on a modular basis. Frequency and magnitude limits for the electrical impedance (e.g. series resonance, parallel resonance, operating frequency), signal rise times, transit times, resonance and, of course, insertion loss can be determined. Individual results and measurement logs can be recorded in the background and archived individually (if a serial number is available) or in batches. This testing device incorporates much of our experience in the field of ultrasonic transducer measurement technology.
